TOURING BEIJING

Today has been a jammed packed full day. We started out our day with an amazing buffet breakfast, Max ate and ate and ate, he can put away the food! Then at 8AM we left to start our day of touring and sightseeing. It ended right about 8PM with a delicious dinner of many Chinese favorites and the famous Peking Duck. Jen, I ate an extra wrap just for you…the things we do for our friends :-).

We had a camera issue today, the little tab that goes over my battery and memory card came off and without it you can’t turn your camera on. I use that camera all the time and rarely use my good one because it is big and bulky. I wasn’t planning on bringing my better Canon but for some reason I just did at the last minute. Now I know why, the Lord was taking care of us and had me bring it. We are so thankful and praise Him for going before us and taking care of what He knew was going to happen. We have seen God’s hand over and over in this adoption; we stand in awe of Him and give Him all praise!

Well tomorrow is the day! We are so excited and happy that the time has finally come and we will be Vivi’s FOREVER family and she will be our FOREVER precious daughter. My stomach is already doing flips and every time I talk about tomorrow I tear up with emotion, I call it heartmones :-), When God calls you to adopt a child, you carry that child in your heart. Right now, my heart is so big it feels like it is about to burst, it was the same with Max and I think any adoptive parent would describe it the same way. Paul and I are so grateful and thankful that God has called us to adoption. We feel so blessed that God has entrusted us to raise His children, to teach and bring them up to love and serve Him. God has placed both Max and Vivi Jo in our family for a reason, His plan for their lives were written in His book before the beginning of time (Psalms 139: 15-16). He has got great and specific plans for both of them and He will use Max and Vivi Jo in a mighty way to further His kingdom. Please remember Paul, myself, Max and Vivi Jo in your prayers. If the Lord puts us on your mind, please lift us up in prayer.

I want to thank you all for your comments, we look forward to them and we really appreciate the support and the encouragement you give.

I put a few pictures from today on the Shutterfly link, I have many more pictures on the little Canon camera that I can’t download. When we get home I can put the memory stick directly in my computer and I will add them later.

We love you!
Paul, Kim and Max
