WE ARE HERE!!!!

What a day! It has been absolutely terrific, we felt your prayers and appreciate them so much, it was an incredible day of travel. All three of our flights were great with smooth take offs and landings, we all felt GREAT and travel was easy. Max had a BIG day, he travels so well, we had 24 hours of flying and waiting on our flights and he was so content and happy and was on cloud nine all day about being on the “BIG airplane”. Between flights, as we waited Max made friends with the other passengers that were also waiting, young and old…many were calling him by name and telling him bye as we boarded.

First thing early this morning at DFW airport, there was a family waiting to board our plane that had a beautiful little Chinese daughter that was 5 years old, we started visiting and found out that they were on their way back to China to get their second daughter. They were on all the same flights with us, their daughter is from the same province that Vivi Jo is from, we are staying at the same hotel, and we are getting our daughters at the same place, same day and same time…pretty cool! We enjoyed visiting and getting to know them. Their daughter and Max hit it off and they ended up holding hands as they boarded the plane. All I could think about was how he is going to adore his Vivi Hua Hua,( that’s what he calls her).

Many of your know that soon after we came home with Max last September, that he could pick out an Asian person in a huge crowd and he calls them all China…not Chinese but China, and gets so excited because he knows being Chinese (China) is way COOL! When we got to Beijing I was carrying him through the airport and of course there were Chinese people everywhere, his eyes were HUGE and he said with much excitement in his voice, “OH! LOOK!...CHINA, OH! MAMA LOOK, ANOTHER ONE…OH OH LOOK…….! As we walked passed them he gave them a big smile and wave.

Tomorrow we will tour the Forbidden City, visit Tiananmen Square and climb the Great Wall of China. Our guide said that it will be an eleven or twelve hour day of touring. We are looking forward to it. Then you know what the next day after touring is….yes, it will be the day that we will be united with our little princess. We can’t wait! Please keep us and Vivi in your prayers. Prayer works! We love you and I’ll be sending an update on our full day of touring.

Be sure and go to the Shutterfly link, I added some more pictures from today.
