I forgot to even mention our Consulate Appointment
yesterday….It went great without any snags. Yea….Yea….Yea!
Well, this will be the last post until we get home…one more
sleep…LOL…yeah right…we might be up all night long trying to get
all of our gifts and goodies to fit in our luggage.
This morning we enjoyed our last White Swan buffet breakfast…how
will we all ever be able to go back to having a single bowl of
cereal and for me, a Kashi bar with coffee after nearly two
weeks of breakfast heaven. After breakfast we headed to our
daily dose of the White Swan play room, the kids love the play
room…We got so tickled at Max, he is a true couch potato…so many
toys and so much room to run and play and he would rather watch
the Bee Movie. Not Miss Vivi, she is not going to slow down
enough to watch a movie, she is way to busy and does not want to
miss any of the action.
Today was jammed packed full! We knew we had more shopping to do
so we were off finding the best deals on our last list of must
haves. I am the bargainer of the two of us….I get the good deals
;-)! We had lots of shopping to do on this trip because we
decided that we wanted to have a small gift from China to give
Max and Vivi on each gotcha day anniversary until they are 19
years old. After our shopping spree we grabbed something at the
deli for lunch and then quickly got both little ones changed
into their traditional Chinese outfits for our Red Couch photos.
As soon as the photos were finished then we ran upstairs and
changed Vivi into her Oath Ceremony dress/ and off to the US
Consulate for the Oath Ceremony. We came back and I took a
pictures of the kids while they were running around having fun
and being silly….we were not allowed to take photos in the
Consulate’s office. After our photos session we went to eat our
last Chinese dinner. We eat dinner as a group every night. I
truly love each person on our travel group and we will miss them
so much! Tomorrow morning early early we will be leaving China
and a new chapter in Vivian’s life will begin. Please keep her
and us in your prayers!
We want to thank you for following along our journey and for
your comments, emails and prayers! Thank you Joe and Jennifer at
My Adoption Website, for a beautiful website that we will always
cherish.
If you would like to come to the airport we would love to see
you and would love for you to meet Vivi Jo. We have received
emails asking if it would be to much on her and we really think
she will be fine, she has been around crowds of people all
week….but if you come to the airport, please plan to go out to
eat with us….Although we do love Chinese cuisine it will NOT be
on the menu Thursday evening….how about some good ole
Tex-Mex…Paul and I both are craving Mexican food…BIG TIME!
Our flight is on Northwest Airlines flight 1908. It will arrive
DFW on Thursday, November 20th at 4:53pm. Meme, Paul said you
can go online to Northwest Airlines and put in the flight number
(1908) and it will tell you the terminal and gate number.
Once we get home we will continue “Celebrating Everyday Life” so
stop by and pay is a visit.
